Size Guide
This is a guide to determine what size of hat to order. A few things to note:
- select the size based on the actual measurement, not the age of child
- the 'age' is a rough idea of how old the child typically is when measuring for that size
- remember that each child is different and unique, some children may measure to fit a '6-12 months' size at age 18 months or a '2T - 3T' size, this is why it is important to measure first

Please ensure you measure your child's head prior to ordering. If you are unsure of ordering the correct size or are between sizes, go with the size up. Resist the urge to size up unnecessarily or "so that it will fit for longer". This is actually counterintuitive as a too-loose hat fits sloppily and will slide around on the child's head and fall off. Bonnets are meant to fit close to the face with minimal gapping and you would be surprised how long the hat will fit for until you have to size up!
And now for the biggest question: How do I measure my child's head for a bonnet?
Easy! Take a soft measuring tape and measure the widest part of the child's head, above the eyebrows. If you don't have a soft measuring tape then a piece of string will do the trick, and compare it to a measuring tape after you have the length.
